  2. Description: This course involves life sciences, particularly the development, growth, response, reproduction of all living organisms. Emphasis is given to the biology of man.
  3. Objectives:

At the end of the term, students should be able to:

    1. Understand the scope and meaning of biology.
    2. Have a realistic conception of organisms and their parts.
    3. Understand the structural and adaptive characteristics of an organism.
    4. Apply basic biological principles in daily living.
